The gripweed. were born in 2002. The band takes its name from a character of the movie How I won the war by Richard Lester. After two years of live shows, in 2004 they released the demo a solid castle of sand.
Their sound is a mix of electronics, post punk, noise-wave and cinema suggestions, all of this surrounded by some melody. On April 2005 they present their second work, the unexpected e.p. in Siderno (RC), opening the live set of the Client.
The line-up is: Cristian Rosa (voice, synth), Alberto La Riccia (guitars, backing vocals) and Lucantonio Pignataro (bass, toys). They're recording their first full-length album.
