Grey Sunset is five young guys from a provincial city, called Perm. One fine day they just realized that concrete walls, grey block of flats that look just the same, dirty streets, smoggy air, and steely heavens are not the things they should live for. In April of 2006 they felt a thirst after self-expression and created a post-hardcore band, named Grey Sunset. They were driven by a desire to escape from daily routine and throw out their dissatisfaction with provincial life.
Originally, the bands musical style was based on the guys preferences in music. Back then they listened to Alexisonfire, Placebo, Dir~en~Grey, Poison The Well. This resulted in a freaky but really unique mix of musical styles.
In January of 2008 Grey Sunset recorded their first EP Just One Step & Seven Seconds of Falling.
