It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from or what you did... you are loved!!!

My name's Val, and I've been doing musical stuff since I was three and sang my first solo at church. I come from a musical family, my mom's an amazing soprano, and my dad, bro, sis and me sing and also play musical instruments, not to mention all my uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc.

I was blessed with the gift of music from an early age, but I only started writing my own stuff when I turned 16, encouraged by a cousin who did the same.

My songs are about life, our relationship with God, available to us through Jesus, and how we seek Him as human beings. Sort of a more 'confessional' approach, or 'a paryer in a song' type-thing, although there's also quite a bit of straight-forward 'God, you rock' worship in there as well...

My musical favourites include Rebecca St. James, Paul Colman Trio, Third Day, David Cowder Band, Starfield, T-Bone, Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Jars of Clay and many more!!

I'm currently studying music, perfecting the guitar, piano and singing skills. Not to mention all the stuff God is just doing with my heart... Healing, surprising... loving... :D

Anywho, the point of the music is worshiping God and having fun, being real. I pray you are blessed by it. :)
