January 2004. Formed by guitarist Stef Cuypers, bassist Pieter Anthoon, drummer Pieter Verreycken, guitarist Philippe Corthout and singer/songwriter/pianist Jesse De Belder, Green Autumn exploded onto the Belgian music scene.

After some time, Green Autumn became more mature. Their music grew and the sound changed. They dropped the punk and kept the rock. They no longer felt a certain obstacle and new songs were created. New songs like Reason, Falling Seems Forever and The Antidote, to name a few.
A straight, energetic rythm section, powerfull, moody guitars combined with softer elements. A down to earth bass section, and sweet, poppy vocals. Armed with a desire to play music that they are passionate about and with influences ranging from Anberlin to Silverstein, Foo Fighters to Glasseater and even Coldplay to some early Open Hand, Green Autumn became a true mixture of powerful and soft emotional rockmusic.

Recently the five recorded their first EP called 'The Pillowcase Remains' and will be released on March 11th 2006 at JC Choke in Herselt. The record became a mixture of emotion, intensity, passion, power and melody. Be sure to check it out.
