GRAVITY WINS AGAIN

is an acoustic/electric project, drawing from influences such as rock, punk, & hardcore. Every song is honest & heartfelt, with the melodies finding their way into your head and staying there for days.

In the short space of just under a year, GWA have made an impact through word-of-mouth and the increasingly popular Myspace.com , with several hundred fans signing up mainly from outside their home country of South Africa. "It's truly amazing", says vocalist/guitarist Gareth Allison, "we have more fans in the US and Britain than here in my own hometown...it's mindblowing to me".

Having been featured in the latest edition of South Africa's largest punk/indie/hardcore zine SILENT SCREAMS (which is also SA's largest underground music distro), and a half-page features as "Up & Coming Band" in Truth Magazine (one of SA's biggestest nationwide youth magazines)GWA hopes to capitalise on this exposure with the release of their debut 7-track EP.

The EP in question, "The Lesser Of Two Evils..." has garnered praise from critics and fans alike since it's release on March 29th, and is set to help take GWA to not only the rest of South Africa, but the world as well. The CD is available worldwide through the band's official online store, as well as in the US, UK & Canada through Interpunk.com
