GQ grew up in the heart of Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

In the early days GQ was introduced to hip-hop while shooting a rap video for a music project. As hip-hop exploded on the scene Sucker MC by Run DMC caught the impressionable ear of GQ. As hip-hop grew, he was influenced by such artists as Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, Public Enemy and Gang Star just to name a few.

As the doors of the rap genre opened GQ expressed his lyrical love for rap in talent shows and pressed forward towards a music career.

Here at Cross The Border Entertainment we strive to bring the very best of all music to the masses, both in a domestic and international appeal.
