News Update....Finally!

Posted January 13, 2007

We are very much aware it's been sometime since we updated you, our eternal beloved fans. In our defense, we had no idea where to begin. We have an uncanny ability to argue every decision which kills time. We promised a tour was coming last year and many times that promise came and went. We are sorry for not delivering. We were trying to find our road, so to say. We went down so many avenues last year and many times we reached the end of the road and many times we felt the destination was not right. In those instances we made a U-turn, and started over again. So we did a lot of writing last year and as you may recall while we were demo'ing these songs we asked for your opinion. The feedback was amazing and we realized we finally had the songs to make up a proper god or Julie CD. We thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. Therefore, in April 2007 through our website we are releasing a new CD titled "This Road Before" we also in talks to release the CD nationally by Summers end. This CD might include a couple songs from the "What doesn't kill you" CD. Reason being, that CD was never officially released. We know we have created our best music and no matter the response from critics or industry, this is the best possible album we can share with you at this stage in our careers. We would also like to let you know that any fan that purchased the "What Doesn't Kill You" CD from our website will receive a copy of this "This Road Before" for free in the mail. If you want, pick up a copy now before supplies last and you'll get two god or Julie CD's for the price of one. Now the good news, touring. We are going out on tour with Everclear for a couple of weeks. In April we are heading out on tour ourselves with some friends. The dates for the April tour are subject but we just wanted to give you a heads up, the route will be available soon. On the personal front we are sad to say that Aaron Johnson (guitarist) has left the band. His departure is a great beginning for both Aaron and god or Julie. Many of you may not know but Aaron Co-produced the debut CD by the band The Fray. This ultimately gave Aaron an opportunity to direct his attention to producing and we wish him the best. Aaron is still involved with god or Julie on the production end, and will always be. We wish him the best. We also have a new management team. Our manager Michael has partnered up with Bill McGathy from Indegoot Entertainment (Puddle of mud, Chevelle, Kill Hannah, Silvertide). As you can see all has not been quiet on the god or Julie front. We hope everyone had a great holiday season and we look forward to an amazing 2007 together. We have not forgotten about you. Every decision we make is all about us giving you the best we can possibly give. "This Road Before" has our blood, sweat, dreams, tears and heartbreak poured all over the recording and we can't wait to share it with you. See you on the road in 2007!!
