Glorious Bride is an artistic voyage, a spiritual migration, a musical transplant of idea from one being to another, a personal translation of inner struggle and thought, a public conversation of mystery, complexity, and uncertainty; a microscopic gaze into an illimitable universe, an alien with a naked purpose defined by an ultimate Sovereignty.
Who will fellowship with the incompetent? We are wanted; the unskillful are so valuable now. Who will lend their ear to a thief, deciever, adulterer, and mirror image of you?
Glorious Bride began in the obscure town of Eclectic, AL and eventually relocated to Auburn, AL, a college town in the mid-east area of the state. The combination of co-songwriters Jon Myles and Roger Eason developed into a four piece when drummer Ben Bugna and bassist J.W. Woodard rounded out a complete, distinctive sound later branded as Glorious Bride. The name Glorious Bride comes from the Biblical parallel of the Church being the Bride of Christ and how it is glorious in His sight, no matter what their past consists of.
