MISSION STATEMENT:


We are all children of GOD, He is our lord and savior, He is the light that guides us when everything else has turned to ashes. We have our convictions and we will not push them on anyone for any reason. We believe in JESUS CHRIST and we have accepted him into our hearts. We will not judge you if you do not believe or accept Him. We will however hang out with you if you want to hang out with us. Come up to anyone of us after any show or if you see us out in the world somewhere, we would like to meet you.

BIO:


GHOST OF A MARTYR ... the name came from the spiritual essence of the one and only Jesus Christ ... a martyr is an innocent person who, without seeking death (suicide being seen as sinful), is murdered or put to death for his or her religious faith or convictions ... yes ghost of a martyr is a christian band and yes they do what they do in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior but these guys don't push their beliefs on anyone for any reason ... G.O.A.M. started out in late 2005, but back then they weren't know as the name they are known for now ... over the months they played show after show(mostly benefit shows for organizations around Knoxville) while perfecting their music and also their line up ... they have played with the best around Knoxville along with a couple of big name acts such as EMMURE(victory records) BANDCAMP(Atlantic records) TONY DANZA TAPDANCE EXTRAVANGANZA(black market activities) WHITECHAPEL(siege of amida records) and other national acts ... ghost of a martyr went through various degrees of changes from 2 different vocalists and also a lot of name changes until they finally settled on their current line up and name ... the sound of ghost of martyr is all thanks to these individuals ... NIC ... brings to the table screams of highs and lows while also bringing to the table vocalization of a true metal core vocalists ... JUSTIN AND JOSH ... combine their sounds of metal, grind core, breakdowns, and power chords for a style or metal core all their own ... KHRISTIAN ... brings all the powerful low end you come to love out of any metal band while also bringing his own brand of technicality ... JOHN ... combines numbingly fast double bass with a sort of punk beat and style ... combine all those elements with a stage presence that is full of energy and never backs down and you have GHOST OF A MARTYR.
