Essaying to introduce a polyvalent genre of discourse that simultaneously opens new outlets for human expression and combats the muting of improprieties in an industry made increasingly hierarchical through the crystallization of complex power-relationships, Garbage Can Fuck Mouth stands at the center of a societal panopticon in which the inmates carry out a dialogue on their innermost obscene fantasies, unbound by the pervasive gaze of over-righteous peers.
- a social commentary without defined meaning or goals for reform.
- a musically flavored conceptual body in flux, one without limitations on linearity, which transcends a congealed status and lacks rank or hierarchy in membership.
"I see GCFM as very dada. It's a counter culture, but one that doesn't align itself with anything really. It's art that is anti-art. It's ubiquitously pretentious but self aware of being so in a never-ending cyclical wave of satirical ambivalence."
