Gas Station Robber is Chris Holbrook and Craig Conard. Craig and Chris met through mutual friends and became part of the band The Approach in 2003. After three years of shows and two independent releases, the group disbanded in early 2006. Craig and Chris decided to continue experimenting with different sounds and songwriting ideas. After a bit of experimentation they found themselves venturing further and further into the world of electro indie pop. With all recording and engineering done by Craig Conard, they both write and produce their tracks. Currently they are working on a full-length release.

Chris Holbrook is originally from San Antonio, Texas. He comes from a musical/entertainment background. At the age of twenty-two he moved to Los Angeles. Shortly there after, he began writing songs and seeking musicians to play with. After several years of playing with different people Gas Station Robber was formed in 2006.

Craig Conard is originally from Kansas City. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue audio engineering and to form a band. Shortly after moving there he began working at The Sound Factory as an assistant engineer. After a few years of watching records get made he left and started making records on his own. In 2006 Gas Station Robber was formed. Currently, Craig works with Boyd Tinsley (of Dave Mathews Band) and Michael Brook (Scored An Inconvenient Truth and Into the Wild among other works).
