function - Z emerged from a group on friends who got together to record a tribute to a friend who was leaving overseas. Greeting 2006 with the release of 3 songs before they release their album sometime in July, the band have gotten better and better amidst the chaos of exams and are now ready to show people what they're made of. .function-Z is not breaking stride as they strive to affirm themselves as one of the up and coming big acts from Malaysia.
The track "I Need to Know" featuring Debra Nita has been a hit so far and gotten rave reviews proving the band's potential amidst the tender age of its members. Averaging only 18 years of age, the band has years ahead to learn and explode onto the scene but is keen on getting the attention of the teens today, and now!
