Fromthebalcony. is a five piece powerpop/rock band from the burbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fromthebalcony. Formed in late 2007 w/ C.J. - Vocals, DJ - Guitar/vocals, Frank - Bass, and Sam - Drums. Hitting the ground running with their first single 'The Truth; Lies Beneath Her Lips' followed up with the experimental Debut EP "Grab a Hold."

"Grab a Hold" was released on July 8th 2008 and it is NOW Available on iTunes(link below) or at any of the upcoming shows. Fromthebalcony. has currently started working on their sophomore album with more of a power/pop rock sound due out 2009 and is promised to be the heavy hitting jams and sensual sounds of what ftb has become.

In March 2009 Fromthebalcony. added a New guitarist named Matt, to replace C.J. and help develop the sound.

Fromthebalcony. has played with notable bands such as: Sparks the Rescue (Fearless Records), The Scenic (Victory Records), Van Atta High (Thriving Records), The Promise Hero (TDR Records), Lady Radiator (Emerald Moon Records), Lannen Fall, Hotspur, Amen The Animal, Racing Kites, Say You Will...
And Such local talent as: A Golden Era, In Clover, Sky vs Sea, The Skylife ect. along with being featured in Gorilla Productions/Outburn Magazine's Battle of the bands and appearance on 95.1 WZZO's Backyard bands.
