Fromthebalcony. is a five piece powerpop/rock band from the burbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. FTB has gone through a few line up changes over the past year and have now settled in with the current members Frank(bass), C.J.(vocals), DJ(guitar), Matt(leadguitar), and Chris(drums).

In March 2009 Fromthebalcony. added Matt, to replace C.J. and help develop the sound.

In November of 2009 Fromthebalcony. added Chris when Sam decided to part ways with the band.

FTB's Debut EP "Grab a Hold" was released on July 8th 2008 and it is NOW Available on iTunes(link below) or at any of the upcoming shows. Along with the sophomore album "I'm Like a Child" featuring the single "You're Never Too Old For New Socks"(Captain Oh Captain).

Fromthebalcony. has played with notable bands such as: Sparks the Rescue (Fearless Records), The Scenic (Victory Records), Van Atta High (Thriving Records), The Promise Hero (TDR Records), Lady Radiator (Emerald Moon Records), Lannen Fall, Hotspur, Amen The Animal, Racing Kites, Say You Will...
And Such local talent as: A Golden Era, In Clover, Sky vs Sea, The Skylife ect. along with being voted onto the PACTOUR battle of the bands, being featured in Gorilla Productions/Outburn Magazine's Battle of the bands and appearance on 95.1 WZZO's Backyard bands.
