Tupelo, Mississippi's optimum hardcore band, fourtoomany, has managed to cause a rift in the ever so fusing hardcore/metal scene. Collectively arranged in early 2004, fourtoomany has a solid foundation of Christian beliefs; they were previously a praise and worship band. Their beliefs are obvious in their strong lyrical writing and heartfelt playing. Fourtoomany's music is full of metal riffs, hardcore breakdowns, catchy melodies, and near jazz-influenced clean parts. Their blend of styles is accented with a singing/screaming combination that grabs emotion and participation.
