For The Bridegroom is a brand new band. We are all former members of a band, J-walk, that felt called by God to renew the band and begin something different. So For The Bridegroom was formed. The members are Cody, Jeff, Smitty, and Aaron. Our goal is to have you, whether it is at a show, while listening to a CD, or while reading this biography, experience God. We are not a band set up for your entertainment (though we hope you enjoy the music and shows), money (even though we need it to continue this ministry), or for ourselves (though we enjoy every minute of it), but we are here because God has called us to humbly lead you into His presence, so that together we can experience Him. Not because we have all the answers or because we are somehow better or Holier than you, but because we are just like you. Everyday people doing what we can to find truth, peace, love, joy, and purpose in our lives, along with you. We feel that we have found these things in Christ, and that He (in His gracious mercy) decided to help us (all of us, you and this band) connect with Him. We are a lost, blemished bride. We have been beaten, bloodied, and bruised by everything and everyone, but now our Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) has come. He has lifted us up, purified us, and is calling us to be in a lifelong relationship with Him. Experience Him with us! So that all of us may one day claim that we truly are here For The Bridegroom.
