Formaldehyde was founded in late 2003 by Mandy Rampe (vox, guitars, and keys). She was later joined by Jhenna Ashcraft (bass), Zach Burnett (guitars, vox), and Brian Keyes (drums). The band has performed all over New York state since then. Jhenna left the band in February 2006 and was replaced by Sam Langley shortly after. A 7-8 song ep is in the works and set for a release in May, 2006.
