Highly influenced by bands like Disco Ensemble, Fall Out Boy and The Used, not to forget Downstairs, Alkaline Trio and My Chemical Romance, For Love We Scream is a fresh addition to the otherwise so boring music scene of Finland.
In 2003 Chris Hilton met Patric Craft. Chris played Patric some songs he had written earlier and the duo started working on new material. Not many songs were written, but later when the new lead guitarist Thomas Cousins joined in, the group began seriously writing new songs. A few years passed by, and in late 2005, the drummer Jonathan David joined the group and they finally started playing together as a whole band. In 2006 For Love We Scream scored another guitarist, Ilmari Pearl, who tours with the band and is an active member of the crew.
