Hello. We are folk&stress. We are biological brothers and we make music together. We both rap and make beats. We also breakdance and write graffiti just kidding. We live together and are always in the studio recording and mastering our craft.We have a record coming out called "the box." with Gza, blu, aesop, vast aire of the legendary can ox, and wu-tang producer/artist bronze nazareth. Our friends preservation and pushakey also produced tracks on the record. The one and only dreddy kruger a&r'ed the record with us over the course of 6 weeks in lower manhattan. Dreddy put us through hip-hop boot camp. We take nothing for granted. Everything that has occured is a blessing. We are always checking the myspace so feel free to ask us any questions. A pair of New York natives, Folk & Stress uphold the long tradition of New York Emcees that have both lyrical credibility as well as musical accessibility. Their debut release The Box, scheduled to be in stores in the fall of 2008, is packed with features from hip hop heavyweights.

I just saw ya'll at Landshark in Atlantic Beach,
Florida on Friday (3/21/08). Ya'll were pretty good. I
don't really like rap or whatever, but it was good. And
ya'll put on a good show.
