FOIL has been turning out melodic hard rock tunes since 2002. This powerful foursome delivers, time and time again, high energy , passionate rock shows with big hooks , tons of melody and inspirational vocals that will have you singing along the first time you hear them. Inspired by such great bands as Incubus, Tool and U2 , FOIL was born in San Diego, California. FOIL immediately caught the attention of Groove 33 Records and signed their first recording contract in 2003. With a slew of club shows and festivals already under their belts, FOIL began recording their debut album, "13." Cutting and chiseling away the rough edges, Jeff Sers of Groove 33 Records, developed FOIL into a hit making phenomenon.With the album finished , the band spent the next couple years playing countless shows across southern California. From the distinguished clubs of Hollywood like the Dragonfly, the Whiskey, and the Roxy to the almighty House of Blues San Diego and the famous Del Mar fair. Six straight years rockin the Sandcastles Competition in Imperial Beach helped to bring the music to thousands, including the best fans of all, the kids. With release of the single "I Awake" came an award for "Best Male Songwriter of the Year" in the 2007 LA Music Awards. Experience music that lasts....Experience FOIL.
