Hello Children!

I (Jay) was talking to Justin a few days ago about the album and whatnot, and it came to our attention that this time last year we were still in the studio. Working on the same album. Pretty frustrating, right?

We actually were not in the studio all year. We left the studio at the beginning of 2007, thinking we wouldn't go back (for various reasons i.e. money), and got rid of what we had recorded during that time, and we are glad we did. Our time out of the studio gave us an opportunity to write new songs to replace old ones, and a chance to aquire new equipment that would ultimately take our studio and live sound to another level. We still wanted to get our music out as quickly as possible, but we didn't want to do a sloppy job.

Finally, we went back to the studio for a little test session, and after listening to the first sounds of "I Am Leonidus" recorded, we decided the studio was where we needed to be. Some times have been slow-going still, but we are working. We've promised and promised times that we'll be done and now it's past Christmas. We said it would be out BEFORE or around Christmas in our last album blog. I'm as disappointed as many of you are that it is not done yet. BUT, we only have one full song left to do. After that, it's album art and duplication. So the hard part is almost over! Thank you for your patience, and pleeeeease don't give up on us!

ps - The Album was supposed to be called "Last of a Dying Breed" but my friend, Devin, told me that's already the name of a country singers album? That simply will not do. So I'm asking whoever is reading this to give us album names. Who knows, maybe we'll use it!
