The Flying Heroes have been stalwart harbingers of Britrock for more years than founder member Seags would care to admit and, having emerged from the solo recording wilderness, are currently on line-up number eight (a potted history of Heroes line-ups takes pride of place on the Heroes website for those with a slightly geekward lean). The band are: Seags - guitar/vocals, Frankie Smith - bass/vocals and Amy Byford-Smith - drums/vocals. Former Heroes members play/have played with FISH (Mrillion) the Pork Dukes, the Revillos, Tenpole Tudor, Martin Newell, Steve Linton Band, British Lion, Dirty Deeds and more. ---------Seags---------ps The recordings featured here range from 70's proffesional Polydore recordings salvaged from probably the last remaining cassette, to 2004 numbers recorded solo at home by Seags.
