In the small retirement town of Grants Pass, OR where finding a source of entertainment is harder than fitting a square peg through a round hole, five kids unite to change the face of the southern Oregon music scene. So what happens when you throw five talented musicians in a basement? Fly By Night emerges with a set that is guaranteed to melt your face off! Bassist Rush Behnke 18 and drummer Konrad Bass 20 have both been in multiple bands before but they never seemed to last more than a few months. They picked up guitarist Lance Risser 17 who had recently moved up from L.A. along with Adam Ashe 17. They wanted to try something different so they convinced Adam to play keyboard for them, adding a fuller and completely unique sound. Adam quit the band to pursue "Schroeder" but Scott King 17 quickly filled his position. Later they added Aaron "Dough Boy" Trigg 16. Finally they had found the right combination and chemistry thus "FLY BY NIGHT" was born. Categorize them all you want: post hardcore, progressive rock, screamo etc. With their melodic style, explosive sound and energetic stage presence FBN brings something new and original to the music industry.
