[ F l u x u S y n d r o m ] is an experimental music venture rooted in the futurist movement of the early 20th century. Although the project at first was somewhat based on personal assumptions of what the futuristas might sound like had they existed in the present era, using both old and "modern" tools, it has quickly taken a life of it's own to incorporate elements of EBM, IDM, ambient, goth, musique concrete, electro, etc.
The project does not claim however to be an authority on the subject of futurism. And unlike the early futurists, this venture is not confined to futurism but a meeting of past, present and future.
The music is a reflection of society minus the rose-coloured tinted glasses we are made to wear from our day of birth. A society wherein want, greed, the self, and Machiavellianism is the norm.
[ F l u x u S y n d r o m ] aims to present to the world how she really looks like - without her mask, without her glamour. To hold a mirror to society's face and uncover the leprous decay we have brought unto ourselves.

Working on another collaboration with Kaz. The track is called "Descent, Los Angeles" and it's turning out great. Been tweaking with guitars again for this one. I haven't played guitar in a while so it's a nice "back to my roots" kind of thing.

After what seems like forever, I've started working on a new track again tentatively called "Powerdrain/Loose Cable". It's like one out of three or four tracks that I've been doing almost simultaneously. Hope I can find some time to at least finish one track before the Holiday season 'cause I only have a "proper" studio set up at work.

Just received an email from Alfa-Matrix saying that after choosing from over 1000 songs, the tracks I submitted for the "Endzeit Bunkertracks ActIII" compilation won't make it to the final track list. It's a little sad but I do have the Attrition cover album to look forward to.
However, Alfa-Matrix was kind enough to send my tracks over to Cryonica Music in London who are currently preparing the next edition of their "Cryonica Tanz" sampler.
And according to Seba of Alfa-Matrix - "we never know".

I have finally submitted the "raw tracks" of my cover of Attrition's 'This Great Design'. This is for the Attrition tribute album entitled "Wrapped In The Guise Of My Friend". It took a while but it's finally done and it was all worth the effort. I'm not sure yet whether I'm gonna make it to the final list but i sure hope i do. It would be a great honor.

Just when I was thinking that there was no hope for my Attrition covers, I received an email from Mr. Martin Bowes himself saying that he liked both covers that I did of his songs "Lip Sync" and "This Great Design". I think he was particularly more interested in my cover of "This Great Design" because it had more or less the same feel as the original according to him. It was truly an honor for me to have received good comments from 'the man' himself as I was afraid that I would not be able to do his songs justice.
Nothing is written in stone just yet though as there are still no official announcements as to who's going to make it to the Attrition cover compilation. I'm sure Mr. Bowes will go through tonnes of covers - many of which I'm sure will be coming from well-known and respected artists - before he can decide. I just feel honored enough that mine is being considered. But I do hope I make it to the final list of artists. Right now the only thing I can do I guess is hope and pray that I make the cut.
