BIOGRAPHY

Formed in 2006, Flight To Athena melded the myriad musical influences of its members to produce a locally acclaimed self-titled EP in 2007. Fans and critics described Flightâ€™s rookie release as dynamic with exhilarating, heart-pounding highs and sobering, beautiful transitions. They have shared the stage with bands such as Panic Division, Strata, Kaddisfly, Enter Shikari, and have played on the Vans Warped Tour. The powerful guitars and fervent drums compliment the swirling vocal melodies and heartfelt/clever lyrics. Amidst the quickly growing alternative scene in Southern California, Flight To Athena is making quite a name for itself. With a couple new members, a live show to awe any fan, and a new EP entitled City Under Fire scheduled for release in June 2009, it seems that San Diegoâ€™s buzz band Flight To Athena is set to explode onto the national music scene.
