Five Way Cross is an alternative rock band from the south of Rome. The group was born in 2007 out of the desire of Ivan Balini(guitar)
and GiacomoPontecorvo(guitar) to create a band that was up to their expectations. After having contacted Lorenzo Lorenzetti(bass), Michael Ben Yehuda(drums) and Simone Laurentini(vocals) the final line up was completed. They immediately started to write their own music, and made their recording at "Kutso Noise Home", that gave them access to Rome's underground scene(Jailbreak,Palarockness,Stazione Birra). Later that year they recordered a second demo at the same studio, that includes also their best known piece "Greet The Future", an anthem to the desire to escape from regimented life and crude reality.Greet the future was introduced in an american compilation for rookie bands called Rock4life. The band's sound reflects perfectly its name since each member of the band comes from a different musical background that covers traditional grunge and metal, punk and noise.Five Way Cross are looking for a production by some label.
In 8 july of 2010 they open the concert of Mondo Generator, Nick Oliveri's side project, Queens of Stone Age's famous bass guitarist.
