Five to Forever... A 4-piece, all original punk rock/ alternative band originating from the Barossa Valley, has recently released their first CD, DEMO 07. As an exciting new addition to Adelaides music scene, the band endeavours to demonstrate their new and exciting sound to new audiences across South Australia.

In the winter of 2007, the founding members, Christian Gattermayr (Guitars) and Vaughan Scott-Hoy (Drums) had begun writing new material with hope that one day, a band would form. Almost instantly we found a vocalist named Matthew Preuss who added an interesting new aspect to the bands sound. After a few weeks of practising hard and on some occasions well into the night, we came across a young talented bass player (getting very hard to find these days!) called Lachlan Gerrie. By late August 2007, Five to Forever had formed.

The songs are structured yet progressive, they flow from clean guitar instrumentals to shredding vocals. The band combines components of Hard Rock riffs and Punk progressions with erratic drum fills and a tight rhythm section. All lyrics are clean and meaningful with passion empowering them. The vocals build up and break down forming stages of a catchy song that everyone can enjoy.

With little time to lose, the band has begun the preparation and production of the new Demo to be released February/March of next year. With that in mind, the band is working hard to gain more exposure through playing shows across South Australia, whilst finding time to write new material...
