Hello, and welcome to the site of the artist Fishfinder.

I am Joshua, a 16 year old guitarist/bassist/pianist in CA. The songs you see here are all performed by me. FishFinder has two meanings here...a) my stage moniker as a solo artist, and b) the name of the worship band that I front. I was recording a CD, but have pretty much postponed it, indefinitely. Just too much to balance school, my band, and, well, life.

But for now, I have a couple songs for your listening pleasure that I've recorded in my spare time. Some will come, some will go, as I write and record further. Do note that these are all instrumentals, since I CANNOT sing. ;)

The Songs:
WHEN IN DOUBT-
I recorded it a long time ago, right after I finished "God's Eye On The Sparrow" which was my first popular song on PureVolume. I had mentioned earlier that I'd put it up at some point, but I never got around to it until now. Now, I know a couple of you will recognize the drum track, which is the exact same one that will be on Venice's first song "I'll Fly Away". So...yeah. haha. Hope you like it. I think this is one of my favorites.

GOD'S EYE IS ON THE SPARROW-
This is a cover of an old song written back in the 70's...referencing to a passage in the gospel of Luke in the Bible.

SNACK IN BLACK-
Inspired by that great old band AC/DC, in both name and in feel. This was one of the first rock songs I ever did. I recorded the guitars and bass myself, and used an Alesis drum machine for the drum track.

OF WHAT WE'VE BECOME-
This is a demo of a song Ryan and I are working on for the band...I'm beginning to really like the whole modern rock thing...lyrics can be found here...
