A band as colorful and explosive as their name implies, Fireworks is a group of individuals that create a sound with enough pop quality to keep your little sisters attention and with enough edge to rid them of the "guilty pleasure" status. Hailing from stereotypically suburban Metro Detroit, Fireworks is comprised of five electric personalities with endless influences. Together they create a unique blend of "infectious, well-written punk with an undeniable sense of melody."

In 2006, a Boston based independent label, Run For Cover Records, took enough interest in Fireworks to get them in to the renowned Nada Recording Studio in New Windsor, NY to record their debut EP, We Are Everywhere. A musical breath of fresh air which consists of six energetic anthems that serve as a perfect combination of catchy pop punk styling laden with feel good 'sing alongs' and infectious hooks.

With a title as bold as We Are Everywhere, the band of misfits had their work cut out for them. The band began touring relentlessly and started sharing the stage with a variety of different national touring and local bands. From The Smoking Popes to Damnation AD, the band has never excluded playing with any particular genre. Being open minded and encouraging the same in their live show has lead to them seeing both coasts and everything in between with an endless lists of your favorite bands.

After 2 years of broken strings, sticks, and pockets, the band has finally taken the next step and signed to Triple Crown Records from New York City. With Triple Crown by their side they flew to Southern California and recorded their debut full-length record with Paul Miner at Buzz Bomb Sound Labs. The record, ALL I HAVE TO OFFER IS MY OWN CONFUSION, is set to be released on March 24th, 2009. A record that sonically illustrates the growth and maturity of the band all while retaining the flavor and edge that came with the We Are Everywhere EP (re-released by Triple Crown Records). Keep a close eye on this band as they are rapidly evolving and growing into an ungovernable force.
