FireSky Future is a band from a small town, in a county you've never heard of, in a state you've hopefully never lived in. But that hasn't stopped them from blasting onto the scene in the midwest. In a few short months songs have been written, a demo recorded, and the beginning works of the first album. Cyrus, Travis, Andy and Sean comprise it. FireSky Future's namesake comes from the shimmering volcanic musical explosions coming out of one small room in Charleston that hopefully one day in the coming years fill the airwaves.
Cyrus Bardsley, 25, is the multi-tooled and exceptionally talented lead guitar player for FireSky Future. Coming from a colorful musical background spanning several decades of rock music, Cyrus brings a whole new element into the group's sound. Travis Cooper, 24, is the provider of that beat you find your foot tapping to at the moment. Forging his ability over the years behind a drumset, he is a veteran of several bands. When it comes down to it, there is no drummer more perfect for the flavor FSF is trying to create on their venture. Sean Kelly, 24, is the co-vocalist and rhythm guitarist, and his late-night brainstorms bring out the best in what's catchy and memorable about this group. Along with Travis, Sean's been through the band gauntlet, but now that the pieces have fallen into place, he may have found where he, and the rest of the band, belongs. Andy Long, 22, is the co-vocalist and bassist, as well as the comic relief of many a practice break. Being a part of 2 bands in the past 3 years and several fruitless jam sessions, Sean had Andy pick up a bass and there's been no going back.
