Fire in the Eyes of the City are five individuals from Gloucester City, New Jersey who strive to share their music with the world. Since the release of 'The Performer' in 2008, Fire in the Eyes have been gaining ground, honing their songwriting while perfecting a passionate live set that is second to none.

Pinning Fire in the Eyes of the City into a genre is difficult. Their music is the product of a very diverse set of influences. Fire in the Eyes blends influences ranging from bands like Refused, Deftones, Thursday, and Smashing Pumpkins, as well as the progression of punk and hardcore as a whole, to form their own unique sound. Keith Badtorff's vocals evoke a sense of heartfelt personal truth, reflecting on life's experiences and sometimes harsh realities in hopes of inspiring the best in others.
