Members: Nick & Matt Kirby, Nathan & Jared Fite, & Jared Newman

Fight the Curb was founded in 2002 by Nick Kirby. The first two members of the band were Nick and Matt Kirby. The band recored its first song "He Chose the Nails," in early 2004. Nick and Matt performed "He Chose the Nails," live on two local radio stations in northern Ohio. From December of 2004 to Febuary of 2006 Fight the Curb lead the worship at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Wednesday nights. Thru this FTC founded 3 new members: Jared & Nathan Fite and Jared Newman. Fight the Curb recorded their debut CD "Calling," in December 2005. The CD was released on Feb. 10 2006 at their CD realease party. In March of 2006 Fight the Curb will now be playing at a new youth group in Ameia, Ohio at Newsong Christian Fellowship.
