BIOGRAPHY

Jay Doe and Charles Newton are notable musicians in the circa 97 punk rock era that had exploded onto the Ottawa scene with their band "Unemployed". They opened for bands such as AFI, Good Riddance, Propaghandi, Reset, and a list of other stellar bands during that time. They also appeared on such compilation as Volcom's - Poems of the Early Years featuring Strung Out, and more. As the fate of most bands, Unemployed disbanded after a few years of sweat and glory! Fast fowarding to 2011 - Jay & Charles have yet again joined collaborative forces with long time friend Ed Padgett on bass and new recruit Jay Woodley on drums to release their most powerful album to date under the name "Fighting for Survival" that highlights a melodic style and mixture of both hard rock and punk integrity. With a pre-production under their belts these veteran rockers are ready to enter the studio in release of their first full-length debut Lp. set to hit the online markets and retail stores in late 2011.
