Canadian born Danielle Smith A.K.A Fidget, singer, songwriter, dancer, began her music career in 2001 recording her first demo that she recorded with the money she had saved up from various part time jobs. The recording was targeted for country audiences, she was 21 at the time.
After learning a few chords, she began composing her own tunes and lyrics. She soon learned to perform on stage in front of a live audience to gain confidence. Her next step in the music world was landing a singing gig in Mexico after she stepped away from her career as a make-up artist for print and film.
The demo was strong enough to catch the attention of Steven H. Mifsud of Lucre Music who then took the next step in development and put together a band and sent her out on the road gigging extensively.
Upon returning after some 160-shows that garnered her huge audience acceptance, the final piece to a complete artist had been put into place.
Fidget went into the studio and recorded 40 new songs that touch on a wide variety of styles and is now selecting the tracks to be placed on her debut CD.
