1Hey, seriously: There's a Banana Museum in Altadena. With over 17,000 banana-affiliated items on display, we're not sure why you haven't already left.
2 The Eaton Canyon Nature Center has lots of info on local natural history, as well as some adorable live animals.
3 There are tons of great nature trails that run through Altadena, including the Mt. Wilson Trail and the Mt. Lowe Railroad Trail. Stay safe!
4 The North Simon Museum is world-renowned for its private collection of art from all the greats.
5 Old Town Pasadena is home to scores of restaurants and shops, if you're into that sort of thing. There's also a really great yogurt shop—and who isn't into really great yogurt?
