Grant, Taka and Mark from Feeder would like to say a MASSIVE thankyou to all their fans for your support over the last year. The year has ended on a high for the band having seen so many of you come out to watch them on tour over the last few months.

FEEDER TO PLAY COASTIVAL & CREWE BEFORE JETTING TO JAPAN!‏

To gear themselves up for their Japanese tour this coming February, Feeder will be playing two UK shows before setting off for Tokyo.

On the 13th February the band will play at 'Coastival', a the three day event which takes place in sunny Scarborough. Tickets and full details will be available through the Coastival website on Monday 1st December: CLICK HERE

FEEDER SAY FAREWELL TO THE LEGENDARY LONDON ASTORIA

Feeder are currently setting the UK alight (!!) on their massive UK tour. The band are set to play a second London show on Tuesday the 18th November following their sold out show at Brixton on the 17th.

The boys will be playing at the legendary London Astoria which is sadly closing it's doors to live music later this year. The boys wanted to say farewell to this historic venue by playing there one last time....

MORE FEEDER SHOWS FOR LONDON AND TOKYO

Feeder have just confirmed TWO more London shows; a headline show at the Astoria - one of the band's favourite venues and an appearance at the Royal Albert Hall for a very special cause.

The band will be rocking the Astoria on Tuesday the 18th November following the Brixton show on the 17th. As some of you may know, the historic London Astoria will be closing later this year and the boys were very keen to return before doors finally close. Grant said "This venue holds a lot of special memories for us, it has a fantastic atmosphere, it's really intimate and great for both band and audience."

Feeder have also announced the support bands who will be joining them on tour. Kerrang! cover stars Fightstar will appear on the first half of the tour, up to and including the Llandudno show on the 5th November. New Bristol 5 piece The Chemists who are working on their debut album will join Feeder from the 7th November in Leeds. Both bands will be playing the Brixton Academy show.

The Royal Albert Hall show takes place on Friday 26th September where the band will join Busta Rhymes, The Guillemots ad John Legend for the first London Orange RockCorps show. This is a very special event, and a gig with a bit of a twist... If you Give, you Get Given.

BIG IN JAPAN...AND KOREA

The band have just returned from Japan where 'Silent Cry' has received heavy radio rotation, it's popularity is thought to be enhanced by the fact it is also the name of a hugely popular Nobel prize winning Japanese author Oe Kenzaburo. The band also played their first show in Korea to amazing reactions.

Feeder embark on their May warm up dates tomorrow, with their first gig at the Northumbria Uni, Newcastle. The band will showcase some of their new music at eight intimate venues including new single, "We Are The People". Feederweb have taken a sneak peek at the set list and it's looking to be a goody!

Feeder release their new album, "Silent Cry" on 16th June.

" We've always felt that we had more to achieve and, though I feel like every album is a new chapter in some way, I'm hoping this one can push us even further. I feel this album is a step towards that, and yet a step towards our roots in some ways too. I definitely believe we can achieve more and we really do believe in this record. You can never guess how it will be received when other people hear it, but all I know is that we've made a record we're very proud of."

"MISS YOU" VIDEO COMP + NEW PHOTO COMPETITION

Thanks to everyone who entered the "Miss You" Youtube video competition! The competition has now ended and the band are currently viewing all your videos. We will announce the winners very soon on Feederweb. Good Luck to everyone who entered!

If filming and editing wasn't your thing, we now have a new photo competition running! All you have to do to enter is take a photo which you think best sums up "We Are The People". We really want you to get your thinking caps on for this one so get snapping!

The winner of this competition will get the chance to be in the photographers pit at one of the May dates and take photos of the band for Feederweb's gallery!

XFM FEEDER VIDEO COMPETITION

Xfm have just announced a competition to appear as an extra in the brand new Feeder video being filmed in London tomorrow!!

To enter the competition you must be able to get yourself to an address in London's West End (full details will be disclosed to the winner) for 2:00pm this Thursday 10th April. The winner will get the chance to appear in the video and meet the band!

Tune into Feederweb's Youtube as we have our very own submission to the "Miss You" video comp! OK, so technically we can't enter our own competition, but you can!

Entrants must create a video from scratch either working alone or in a group. It can be anything from animation, live performance or narrative so if you haven't started already, get your thinking caps on and get filming!
