we started in 1997 as a school band called 1/2 litro, writing our own songs since the first rehearsal. soon we evolved from a hardcore-punk band into something that grasped many more styles, always having rock as a base. we decided to change our name to fasat alfa in 2000, adding Cuyi on the bass and completing our lineup. we have then been playing on live shows constantly. in 2004 we released our first self-titled l.p., which contains 13 songs, including "Miedo Al Vaco", which was our single, with a video playing in a local music-video channel and in the radio (for a short period of time). We released that record independently, under the label crculo records, which is a project that we share with a couple of bands from our school days and is on its way to becoming a reality (very, very slowly). Today we are working on our new album and playing regular gigs in our home town of Santiago, Chile, which has an emerging independent music scene.
