in january 2005 the remains of a recently dissolved band set out to find new members for a more advanced project. their search for a new guitarist and a new (male) vocalist was successful, while at the same moment farewell to words were offered the chance to also include a female vocalist in their lineup. halfway through february their roster was complete - and after the last uncertainties were pushed aside their first goal was quickly determined: the production of a demo with two or three songs became the most important aim.
halfway throug april farewell to words entered the studio and two selected songs were recorded in 5 days. the result was far beyond acceptable - the sound became awesome! the only problem remaining was the quest for a good bandname, which was successfully completed shortly after. one of the two recorded songs quickly became known through partyausfall and myspace which led to several offers by concert-organizers.
besides others, the makers of the already mentioned partyausfall invited us to play with other great bands like as we fight at their three-year aniversary-festival. in addition there were several offers from germany and europe to join shows with bands like killswitch engage, story of the year, heaven shall burn, and so on. the year finally ended with great shows alongside bands like 3 inches of blood, himsa, deadlock, narziss, maroon, illdisposed and a lotta more!
