Hello, purevolume!
Just a quick message to say that despite our long period of inactivity here, the band is still alive and playing. Since the last recordings were released, however, progress was grinding down to a near-halt, due to our respective end-of-year Uni exams. The next two months were complicated even further, with two of us being overseas.
Now, we've finally managed to kick off the new year, albeit a few weeks later than we would have liked. Our work and progress is on the rise, and if it all works out, we'll have something to show for it pretty soon (hopefully of better recording quality than the last attempt).
Thanks for you patience with us, and if everything goes to plan, we'll have more songs up soon.

Yes, that's right! Finally, we're able to release some recordings!
Mind you, these are only previews of raw, unmixed songs. These are literally hot off the... mixer..., so there isn't a lot we can show you, without going through it ourselves. Still, it's a good taste of what's to come.
We're still waiting for a decision from our "technical staff", but we might soon be able to show pictures, and even video footage, of the RMIT performance. In the mean time, though, enjoy the music.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who came down and saw us play on September 18. The feedback was encouraging, and although most people said that the mix was a little imbalanced, the general consensus was that we sounded pretty good. Conditions were great on the day, and it made for a good first-time experience. Apologies for the seemingly bad mix, but you have to expect that in an outdoor venue.
The road ahead looks pretty clear, at this stage. Right now, we'll be looking at getting some recordings and pictures up online, and just keeping the songs going. Apologies, also, for the lack of content on our page - our first batch of recordings didn't come out that well. We'll look to be changing that in the near future.

Welcome to the world of Fallshort!
Firstly, thanks for paying us a visit. There'll be plenty more stuff to come in the coming weeks, and you'll see it all unfold right here.
With this first blog comes details of our first official outing. We'll be playing at a World Vision fundraiser at RMIT's City campus on Tuesday September 18 from 1pm. Details are listed elsewhere (under Shows), but it'd be cool if you came down and said 'hi'.
That's about it, I think. Come down on the 18th, if you can. It'd be great to see you there.
