FAIR JUNE

Acoustic / Rock / Jazz

Some things are better left as a mystery, yet the story behind the name Fair June is just as or even more interesting than how the band was established. “We often get asked more questions about the name than anything else,” laughs vocalist, Mike Mikosz. “And, I can assure you we’ll be telling that story a thousand more times down the road.”
Breaking ground in the “Windy City” of Chicago, Fair June has relied solely on word-of-mouth to build upon the hefty grassroots fan base they have acquired throughout the surrounding area. With rhythmic melodies layered beneath compelling vocals, Fair June creates a mixture of musical harmonies, catching attention from all walks of life.

With the experience of sharing the stage with bands such as Better Than Ezra, and being compared to top performers like Maroon5 and John Mayer, Fair June intends on continuing their success by performing vigorously across the country. Having their fate lie within the hands of those that attend their performances, the band feels confident in sustaining long-lasting relationships, while crossing that line in becoming a household name.

Riding on the coattails of Knit-Stitch Productions, Fair June will embark on a nation-wide tour this year in support of the Nothing Left Behind EP. The band is also currently in the works of releasing Live 2005, due out this March; as well as the much anticipated full-length debut album in the summer/fall of 2005.
