Failsafe are an interesting combination of Melodic Rock influenced by all manners of Punk, Reggae and Metal. Based in the North West City of Preston, the various members have brought their own individual influences & styles to the collective sound that is Failsafe today. Since the band formed in 2000 and after a number of line-up changes, the band has spent 3 years playing shows and touring hard to get their music heard by as many people as possible. The past few years has seen Failsafe share the stage with the likes of A Wilhelm Scream, Mad Caddies, Reel Big Fish, The Bouncing Souls, Flogging Molly, Boy Sets Fire, Allister, Rx Bandits, Belvedere, Capdown, Paramore, The Aquabats, Spunge, Armour For Sleep and Anti-Flag.
The debut album What We Are Today was released late in 2005, and received reviews from Metal hammer 8/10, Kerrang! 3/5 and Big Cheese 5/5
'What We Are Today' is the product of a band with collective old heads on young shoulders. The album is a trip through the eclectic tastes & styles of the times to create a truly unique & modern rock record. This album is truly pigeon hole defying but fans of many genres will be enveloped by its diversity & strength."
