Based in Seinäjoki, Finland, Fadeout has branded a music style that can only be called "Evolutionary Rock". The group's members are Marko Pajula, Ilkka Kivimäki, Teemu Salo, Jussi Lahtinen (formely Miss K) Topi Wiio and Jukka Uusitalo (both formely End7). Fadeout's music outlines richly cinematic, experimental textures that contain a shade of melancholy (and some 70's prog tendencies). The band's first release was a five-song Ep Keep Me On The Otherside, which emerged in 2008 as a Viha Records release. The 2010 Ep, The Peasant, was also released on Viha Records that boasted richer and more fleshed-out landscapes to underpin Marko's distinguishable lead vocals. In 2011 Fadeout continued on recording their first full-length album "To Protect Our Way Of Living" which soon received the attention of producer Tim Palmer who ended up mixing the album.
Biography
Fadeout belongs to that rare category of bands that is not merely satisfied with writing great songs but that is also determined to show that the music carries a valid message. Following such artists like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Rage Against The Machine, Fadeouts lyrics don't only deal with broken hearts and failed relationships but they also talk of a need for social change. While working together with organizations such as Amnesty International Fadeouts lyrics reflect the current state of the world where social justice, human rights and human integrity are being stamped on every day.
