FACT NOT FICTION

Indie / Rock / Pop

What began as a side project by Zeke Sayer back in the winter month of January 2006, has now exploded into a full time band that is about to embark on their first album release. It's hard to explain just what type of music FNF is, although it is very obvious that they come from the Indie music scene. Each song from the band has been described as "Something you would hear on The OC or Laguna Beach".

If there is one thing about FNF, it is that every song is different, some have messages that are carefully coded within each word and then some songs have the message out there plain and clear. The style of Zeke Sayer's writing has been credited as unique and different, a far break from any other band around this area.

The song "Psycho", perhaps one of FNFs darkest tunes consisting of nothing more than an acoustic guitar, haunting vocal and noise samples, describes a story of someone that is depressed and has been betrayed, while the song "Homecoming", a more up beat tune of melody filled guitar riffs tells the story of events that happened one night at a homecoming dance and how sometimes you never get the chance to say your sorry. And while there are many other songs out there about depression, happiness, love, and growing up, none of them have ever been put quite the same way as they are stated in every FNF song.

"I dont write sad songs because I want to, I write them because that's what I feel. and honestly, im not quite sure if I could write any other kind of music. Everybody needs a sad song if only every now and then, not to make them sad, but to make them realize what is important in life and in some cases, make them realize that they need a change." - Zeke Sayer
