NEW EYEBUTTERFLY SINGLE IN THE WORKS!

EyeButterfly is about to embark on a new adventure, a lustrous new playground, that's right a NEW song is in the works!

I'm very excited about this track, I would say it fits perfect with the previous EB material. It has the right mix of Electronica, trance and fantasy that I like to work with.

I can't say much about it now due to the track being so early in the writing stages. Although I will say strong melody lines, haunting vocal tones, (HINT: Vampire) song concept and lyrics are coming through. Let's just say it's playing the strings of my heart!

I would also like to thank Ivor 'Tweed8' Stines (Front man of the band '8 Digital') for his awesome work on this song. I really like what he's done so far and I know you will, too!

So hang in there for more updates, as I will definitely make them as I go along!

VALERIE GOES IN TO RECORD BROKEN WINGS!

Now that the New Year has arrived it is time to record and release "Broken Wings"

This Sunday January the 7th Valerie goes into to record vocals at the Orange Lounge studio! OL has worked with some of the top artists here in Canada including, Jakalope, K-OS, Nelly Furtado, The Tea Party, and the Philosopher Kings just to name a few.

Broken Wings will be available for purchase at iTunes, and will be uploaded for streaming ears at the following locations: Myspace, VF, and Purevolume.

Exact release date will be announced ASAP, we're hoping no later than the end of February if all goes well earlier!

Don't forget to get your sneak peek of "broken wings" on the purevolume player if you haven't already, and check back for more updates soon!

EYEBUTTERFLY SEEKS NEW MEMBER(S) AND OR COLLABORATOR(S)

Hey there thanks for reading. If you are interested in working with Eye Butterfly here are some things you will need to know:

I would like to keep the Industrial, Electronic backbone that Eye Butterfly has already established so far. (Within reason) If you would like to hear all previous EB material then please visit the Vampire Freaks location at this address. http://www.vampirefreaks.com/u/EyeButterfly

Here is a brief list of influences that I feel has influenced me so far:

Delerium, Concrete Blonde, Switchblade Symphony, NIN, Madonna, Evanescence, Kylie Minogue, Bjork, NIN, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Wumpscut, No Doubt, Dead Can Dance, VNV, Skinny Puppy and Ministry. Sleepy Hollow, Legend, Fantasy, Water, Noise, Medieval times, Heart Beats, Books, Science Fiction, Stars, Ethereal, Electro, Horror, Ethnic cultures, Greek Mythos, Love, Fear, and Butterflies.

- It would be preferred that you have released at least one album.

- Submission of prior work, press kits or bio's would be required.

- If you are contributing to a song it would be asked that for mixing purposes and live, that a sub grouped instrumentation track Cd be sent. (No rendered stereo files please.)

I would like to work with one or all of the following:

Producers: Looking for an experienced/professional producer who has a firm knowledge of the Electronica, Rock, Industrial genre and its production techniques. This would include song collaborations. I would like to take Eye Butterfly to the next level!

Programmers: This would also include a firm knowledge of the Electronica, Rock, and Industrial genres. Production ideas would be a bonus!

Bands: (Both Indie and Signed/Local or Interenational) Also looking for professional artists who would be willing to collaborate on at least one song for a possible future album.

Sad endings and New beginnings.

and now the hard part

Greg and I have parted ways. This is not something easy for me to announce, and I will miss the great chemistry we had writing songs together. I do think, Greg is a very talented person and wish him the absolute best in his future forthcomings.

I have decided to continue, and look for new writers. I have put a lot of hard work into Eye Butterfly for over two and a half years now, and would be disappointed to see it not bloom to its fullest potential. I would be interested in pursuing professional producers, writers, collaborators and a manager. If you are interested in working with me please send emails to eyebutterfly@eyebutterfly.ca I would definitely like to see where things could go from here. :)

I have uploaded a sample of the last song Greg and I have written together called Broken Wings. This song has great potential and I think its very important that I share this with the fans present and future. So take in mind this is just a rough sample for you all to hear. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! :) It will be available on itunes and other digital download stores in the New Year, and I will upload the full version to PureVolume, Myspace etc once all production is completed. I want to thank DogBite productions the proud owner of The Exalted Piledriver (Vokills) for the great time I had recording with you and the extra time you put in to give me a mix and master of this sample. Plans are already in motion and one of them is a photo shoot with a very creative photographer right here in the Toronto area by the name of Mykhull Studios. I really enjoy his work and cant wait to work with him this coming winter! Ideas are flowing and I think you will really like them. Check out his work thus far. http://www.mykhull.com/

Also another great designer by the name of neko is making me a custom made outfit! *dances the happy dance*. I intend to use in this in my up and coming photo shoot, and you can find neko and her fine workings at this location. http://www.neko-designs.com/

Lastly I have decided to run the girly tees that I had once proposed to do. This and more will be announced as soon as possible!
