EXTINCION CEREBRAL is a band formed in GUADALAJARA, MÉXICO, in 1989, being the first band in the city to play DEATH-GRIND METAL. In 1990 was edited the first rehearsal demo-tape, titled RETROCESO DE LA HUMANIDAD, containing 16 tracks. In 1991 MEPHETIC PRODUCTIONS produced the first full color 7" EP in México titled LÓGICA HIPEREXITADA, and the Dutch compilation APPOINTMENT WITH FEAR took the track ÃFRICA UN GRITO DE HAMBRE for it, and distributed wordwide, with an excellent support for the band, because EXTINCION CEREBRAL was very well-known worlwide. In 1994 was edited the 3rd production titled CATARSIS PARAFRÉNICA, and as the EP, this demo support the band with contacts and good sales. The 4th production was in 1999, a CD-SPLIT with the promising band ENCOUNTER from GUADALAJARA. EXTINCIÓN CEREBRAL is a band with a enough gigs aside of greatest national and international bands around México.
