Four friends from the big island came to Honolulu in search of higher education. To their surprise, however, they met aly, who happend to be between recording jobs and was looking for something with a bit more pizazz and power. After a few months of planning and polishing, Explore was formed in the boy's UH dorm room. Explore conjures the dynamism of At the drive in, the melodic structures of Pink Floyd and the eccentric hooks of King Crimson to create a sound that is both refreshing and rewarding.
