Dear friends

Day One

So here we are! This is me (Ryan) currently sat in the control room listening to some Tool while Mark our producer and Chris set up the drums. Joe, Stu and James are setting up their guitars, changing strings and that. And I was thinking some of you might like to know what our plans are. Incidentally if you have any questions about anything to do with the recording please send them to us, and we'll try and get them answered in the video diaries. Do it!

Last night we stayed at possibly the worst hotel I've ever seen, although the breakfast was good which I suppose somehow made all of the joint's other short fallings marginally better.

Our plans this week are mostly revolving around recording one of our brand new songs for a video, before we can do the rest of the album. The main reason for this is that Scuzz would like to get hold of a video before we play their gig on 29th in London. This is fantastic news obviously as we will be recording a video this month, as well as the new album! Woo!

Either out of nervous excitement or the fact that I was slept on the floor last night, I was up about six this morning running through my lyrics. I'm not needed for a little while as you can tell, but I'm really looking forward to getting started on this! We're all really feeling this album, and I know that you are going to love it!

Our plan at the moment is for the album to have a couple of tracks from TWTD, one track from an EP we recorded in Feb 05, all three tracks from this years demo which were online for a while, and then the new ones!
