The List

Okay, this is a joke song. Don't take this one seriously AT ALL. It was made for my friend Josh, and written with the help of my friend Chris (who is playing guitar in the track). Basically we were at DCLA 2006, making a list of all of Josh's former crushes and/or infatuations over the past several years. The real list had 59-ish names, but we decided to spare you guys and only included 35 in the song. And, uh, this is what came of that concept. Enjoy.

All I Could Ever Ask For [demo]

This song goes back to the beginning of my senior year in high school. It's currently my only worship song I've ever recorded. I wrote it at our annual church retreat, in the coolness of night sitting on top of a hill reading the Bible. It was completely dark, and completely silent. I pulled out a flashlight and began reading Psalm 121...and just began to worship God in a way I had never done before. I'm normally horrible with lyrics, but I was given words this time, and I began to sing the chorus of this song in the dead of night. It was an amazing experience for me, at a time when I was feeling spiritually worn out. I hope it affects you the way it affected me.
