The origins of Eves Downfall go back to the year 2000 to a small college town in Southern Illinois with guitarist and mastermind Myssi Sauder behind the creative wheel. The band went through several lineup changes before Myssi decided it was time to venture out to the Los Angeles area to pursue her musical goals.

In March of 2004 she united forces with drummer Eric Billing and the music took an entirely new direction. Though always heavily influenced by Sabbath style riffing Eves Downfalls original sound also had a strong riot grrrl overtone taking influence from bands like L7 and Babes In Toyland. But when the band took its new form the sound morphed into straight ahead doom metal with angry almost demonic-death metal style vocals.

In late 2005 Eve's Downfall saw some other lineup changes when they parted ways with bassist Michelle Lazarinni and welcomed bassist Scott Taylor into the band and added rhythm guitarist Barbara Michelle Lazarinni. Giving them a much fuller sound and an in-house graphic artist in the form of Barbara Eve's Downfall is now ready to move forward with their plans of recording a full length record and doing a small west coast tour this summer.
