Formed in early 2006, Eve Of Autumn started with long-time band mates Chris Murray and Mike Mann. They decided early on that they were going to break the mold of the average "Rock Band" by using not only aggressive, in your face guitar lines and a powerful yet laid back rhythm section, but by utilizing a more melodic vocal lead as well. After acquiring the skills of Jihad, punk/ska guitarist turned alternative metal bassist the band knew that finding the right vocalist would be detrimental to the bands success. Not wasting any time the trio hit the studio hard and started recording their first 3 track demo while going through numerous vocal auditions. After months of try-outs they finally came across "not just a singer, the singer". Eric Shepherd came into the group with not only the vocal ability that E.O.A. was searching for but the passion and drive as well. With the line-up now complete Eve Of Autumn is planning on the release of their 3 track demo by early September with a full-length on the way. They are also planning on hitting the Houston scene extremely hard during the remainder of 2006 and to start laying the groundwork in Dallas and surrounding areas.
