The first forming of Euterpia was consisted of : Guillaume, Mickael and David. In this period, Fabien was into another group from de North named Livabush, who will next join the group as bassist.
During January (2002), the arrival of Fabrice makes the full line-up. So, Euterpia was born. We choose the name Euterpia in order to indicate our group so as to make reference at the musics muse called Euterpe. For the added A, advices are diversified between the bands members. (reference to Metallica ? Results of fashion effects of groups with a A like Lacuna Coil ?)

After a break in 2003, the year of 2004 was an important corner for us. As a matter of fact, the group will play several times on stage, especially at the Hertz Night Festival, the Camaracum Festival, for associations in the North, but this is also the year which will mark their new demo (five tracks) called Under This, in August, 2004.

After the starting of Fabrice, at the end of October, Euterpia will set in hand by the bands members who are Guillaume, David, Mickal and Fabien. In 2005, Euterpia will take a really different way compared to the demo offered to us. More and more inspired by groups like Opeth, Euterpia from now gives a sour-soft music which, even if, influenced by the Swedish stage, offer a with palette tone: death, doom, progressive, heavy.

At the same times hard-hitting and smoothing, Euterpia enchain his moods with sharpness and logic, on musical details telling about life, as a text religious and tortured.
